Regular readers/viewers may recall that a few weeks ago, I posted a blog welcoming the entry of my former employers,
‘Derbyshire Community Transport’ into the world of scheduled bus operation.
Expecting one of the companys Mellor bodied Mercedes-Benz minibuses to carry me off to Alfreton on service No. 148, I was surprised when an Optare Solo driven by the irrepressible Steve turned up to do the honours.
On loan for a trial period, the bus is being put to good use on some services where, the 16 seat capacity of the minibuses is proving to be marginal.
Will it become a permanent transfer I wonder? Watch this space!!
