Seefeld is where we stayed in Austria. At something approaching 4,000 feet above sea level it made for crisp frosty mornings even in early Autumn..
The town lies on the OBB’s (Austrian Federal Railways) railway line linking Innsbruck with Munich and surprisingly is mainly single line.
Very much a tourism town these days and although there is a railway station.
Most tourists seem to arrive by road.
