At the end of EUROBUS EXPO 2019, I said in my closing blog;
“All being well, I will be back at the NEC next year”.
We all now know that due to the Covid 19 pandemic the years 2020 and 2021 would not see the annual Busfest at the NEC .
However, I am pleased to say that it is back with a bang this year.
This, then, is the seventh of a series of blogs where I pick out what caught my eye at 2022’s show.
Ilesbus are an up and coming bus and coach builder located in Bridgend, South Wales.
Their main entry in the show was a 29 seat coach marketed as GLANCE.
It is worth more than a glance, requiring a good look round to appreciate its features.
I have seen examples appear in fleets across the country and it seems to me that it might well replace the much missed Mercedes-Benz 814D / Plaxton Cheetah.
Time will tell.
