One of the surprise acquisitions in the bus world in September 2022 was ‘McGills Buses Group’ taking over ‘First Scotland East’ which became ‘McGills Scotland East’.
‘McGills Scotland East’ will be subdivided into ‘McGills Midland Bluebird’ and ‘McGills Eastern Scottish’.
‘Midland Bluebird’ and ‘Eastern Scottish’ are names deeply embedded in Scottish bus history.
A few weeks earlier and he would have been collecting images of them in ‘First Scotland East’ ownership and livery.
