From time to time, I publish blog a day for a limited period.
In the past it has been at a holiday time or to report on the Coach and Bus show at the NEC.
So for no other reason that it is Easter and maybe we all need a bit of cheering up, I will publish this blog today (Easter Sunday) and a further blog on Easter Monday.
I had been wondering what to publish when out of the blue came images from friends Peter Rose and Stuart Montgomery.
It is their work then that will be on show over the next few days and of course with their co-operation and permission.
Both of these gentlemen are supporters of the ‘Buses/Trains in the environment’ concept so out of respect for their views, the images have not been cropped by myself.
I continue with Stuarts images from an almost deserted Edinburgh.
The images have been gathered in the last couple of weeks when as an Edinburgh resident he is out on his daily exercise as accepted by the government.
He properly socially distanced himself from other people so neither anyone else nor himself was put at risk.
All the images in this blog are of the new Volvo B8L’s with Alexander Enviro 400XLB bodies.

Waiting on Waverley Bridge for someone, anyone to turn up.
This was at 2-00pm on a Monday afternoon and illustrates how well the residents were observing the lockdown.
I was on this bridge last August and it was absolutely packed with sightseeing buses and people.

Stuart comments that ‘Lothian’ are deliberately using these large 100 seat buses so that passengers (the few that there are) can socially distance themselves from other passengers.
