It is just about three years since I was last in Kings Lynn and at that time the major local operator ‘Norfolk Green’ (NG) had just been taken over by ‘Stagecoach’.
Unusally for ‘Stagecoach’, ‘NG’ were allowed to continue with their own livery and titling. Since then, ‘NG’s livery has morphed into a scheme that uses some of the earlier livery colours applied in a distinctly ‘Stagecoach’ style.
One previous ‘NG’ feature, that of naming buses appears to be in decline. A shame really, because it gave the buses an extra bit of character.

Previously operated by ‘Stagecoach in London’. The red paint it wore then can still be seen on the nearside front corner of the upper deck where its current silver paint has rubbed off.

Coming into the ‘Stagecoach’ group as part of the ‘NG’ take over where it was No. 22.
The ‘Coasthopper’ service is a lengthy route that runs from Kings Lynn to terminate in Cromer. A distance of approximately 60 miles that is a superb way of visiting the North Norfolk Coast.
