It has been somewhile since I last featured the Derbyshire town of Buxton so I thought that a re visit was overdue.

I am always on the lookout for something ‘different’ and this certainly fits the bill.
Clearly derived from a milk float type vehicle and cleverly styled to imply an upper deck. This unusual ‘bus’ has a surprising turn of speed.

When ‘trentbarton’ (tb) and ‘Centrebus’ (Cb) jointly formed ‘High Peak Buses’ (HPB), ‘tb’ transferred a number of vehicles to the joint operation.
Interestingly retaining its ‘tb’ fleet number, this was one such.
For many years the ‘transpeak’ service and its forerunners were a ‘tb’ operation.
At the time of the founding of ‘HPB’ the service was transferred to the new company.
