It has been 4 years since I last visited Eastbourne and in that time a lot has changed.
The main difference is that the main road through the town centre has been partly pedestrianised with restricted access to any vehicle other than buses.
The new road surface is evident in some of the images.
In my view, a big improvement.

Very much a visitor in a ‘Stagecoach’ dominated town.
The 12 series of routes link Eastbourne with Brighton to the West.
Much of the journey, particularly over Beachy Head, and along the coast is very scenic.
The naming of buses after well known people, who live or have lived in Brighton, adds a local touch to the fleet.

It might sit at an odd angle, but look at the verticals around it. That’s how it was.
