Following the demise of ‘yourbus’ of Heanor.
‘Hulleys of Baslow’ took over the running of two very rural routes linking Matlock with Ashbourne.
Numbered 110 and 111, they were routed via different villages, the town of Wirksworth and the visitor centre at Carsington Water to provide a range of travel opportunities.
For a while, due to Covid 19 restrictions, the routes were merged into one but recently the two route operation has been restored.
‘Hulleys of Baslow’, as many readers/viewers of my blog will know, have been operating vehicles in alternative liveries by way of celebrating the 100 years that have passed since Henry Hulley set up the company.
Two buses have appeared in the livery of ‘Express Motors’ who were based in the nearby village of Hulland Ward which are being used on the 110 and 111.
