‘Scene’ in a rain soaked Derby bus station, ARRIVA mini bus on Dennis Basford’s railsroadsrunways.blogspot.co.uk’

It’s always a gamble taking photographs on a rainy day.

However, I believe that modern paints and methods of application allows for the water and any grime below it to be more easily shed than traditional paints would allow.

Anyway, judge for yourselves.

In the current (September 2021) issue of ‘Buses’ magazine page 36, David Jenkins has penned an excellent article about ‘ARRIVA’ in which amongst other topics, he writes about the companies use of minibuses.

Well worth a read if you can get hold of a copy!

New to ‘ARRIVA Southern Counties’.

There is a reference on the offside coving panel to the ‘University of Nottingham’.

There is also a platform at the rear which I think is for carrying cycles.
