Because we are so familiar with them in England It is easy to think of ‘Stagecoach’ as being yet another English bus company.
However the company’s roots are very much Scottish being founded by brother and sister Brian Souter (now Sir Brian) and Ann Gloag and to this day the company’s headquarters are in Perth.

The Plaxton Panther LE is basically a low floor bus front end married to the rear of a coach.
