Friend Peter Rose and I recently made the trip over the border to visit the ‘Scottish Vintage Bus Museum’ which is at Lathalmond in Fife.
Located close to the historic town of Dunfermline it is housed in a very large complex that at one time was home to a Royal Navy storage depot.
There are many buildings that survive from that time some of which are used to house the museums collections.
The surviving roadways are put to good use on open days by allowing a comprehensive bus service to enable visitors to get around the site.
The medallions on the between decks panelling illustrating events and vehicles in that time.
