‘Scene’, new on ‘trentbarton’s ‘the nines’ on ‘Dennis Basford’s railsroadsrunways.blogspot.co.uk

I do not usually go out on a cold, wet, miserable winters day taking photographs of buses.

However, my local operator ‘trentbarton’ (tb) were placing a batch of 14 new buses on one of my local routes so I felt that if they could make the effort, so could I.

The new buses are Alexander Dennis Ltd. Enviro 200MMC’s.

They are the second batch of the type to enter service with ‘tb’. The first batch of 8 going onto ‘the mickleover’ just before Christmas 2016. (See blog dated 9/12/2016).

As usual these days, the interior comes with free Wi-fi and USB power.

The two pairs of seats at the front of the raised seating section come with what looks like a pulpit which ‘tb’ refer to as a ‘mini bar’.

The purpose of which is to enable passengers to locate their electronic devices whilst accessing them.

A clever feature which I think will be well used.
