The PSV Circle (of which I have been a member for some years) aims to hold an Annual General Meeting in a different location in the UK every year. (Covid permitting).
Usually held at a weekend, they also include visits to operators and other bus related venues for the attending members to visit and enjoy.
This year, the location was in my part of the world, the East Midlands.
‘Nottingham City Transport’ was to be our second visit of this the third day.
Parliament Street depot welcomed us and as we had found at ‘Skills’, being a Sunday, a large percentage of the fleet was ‘at home’.

As a result of the intake of the gas powered double deckers, large numbers of diesel engined buses have left the fleet but there are large numbers still remaining.
It will be interesting to see what replaces them.

A company called ‘Pathfinder (Newark) Limited’ was bought by ‘ NCT’ in 1997.
They provided a service from Southwell which lies to the North of the City.
The company is still remembered by the use of its name on the buses that provide the service today.
