Peter, a friend of many years standing, was in Edinburgh on holiday recently and has forwarded these images for me to share with you.
As usual, they appear with his consent and my thanks.
Many images in this selection were captured on Princes Street which is shared with other forms of transport including Edinburgh’s trams.
The track of which can be observed beneath some of the buses.

New to ‘Stagecoach Fife Scottish’.
This bus belongs to a batch of 10 registered YX18 LHL to YX18 LHW omitting LHQ numbered 54501 to 54510.
They are to a hybrid design developed by Volvo and Plaxton for ‘Stagecoach’s requirement for a low floor entrance bus with wheelchair access married to a coach suitable for interurban services.
They seem to operate exclusively on the Edinburgh/Dunfermline corridor.
