All the images in this blog are of buses registered to subsidiaries of the ‘Go-Ahead’ group.
Being operated by ‘City of Oxford Motor Services’ or ‘Thames Travel’.
I have been taking photographs of buses in Oxford for some years and I have always been fortunate in having dry weather.
This particular day was in late autumn with a clear, blue and sunny sky.
The only problem is that Oxford is a historic city with narrow streets and many tall buildings which between them create a variety difficulties with shadows.
As always, it is all about making the best of what you have.
I hope you enjoy this selection.

Originally built for fellow ‘Go-Ahead’ group member ‘Southern Vectis’ (SV) but but due to the late delivery of Oxfords own buses, four were diverted to Oxford where they ran for a while in ‘SV’ green.
My blog posted 28/05/2016 shows an image of similar bus HW63 FHC No. 251 at work in Oxford in ‘SV’ green.
