The ‘Wellglade’ group’s intake of Alexander Dennis Ltd. (ADL) E20D / ‘ADL’ Enviro 200MMC’s for its ‘trentbarton’ fleet continues apace.
The latest,16 in number have replaced six year old Optare Versas on the ‘rainbowone’ service which links Alfreton, Heanor and Ripley via Eastwood to Nottingham.
Painted in a blue livery, they hark back to the days when the ‘Midland General Omnibus Company’ (MGOC) another member of the ‘Wellglade’ group whose buses carried a similar blue and cream livery operated between the towns and Nottingham.
The buses registered YX20 OJA to YX20 OJH and YX20 OJJ to YX20 OJR are numbered from No. 158 to No. 173 inclusive.
