‘Scene’ at ‘Nottingham Heritage Vehicles’ Open Day /1 on Dennis Basford’s railsroadsrunways.blogspot.co.uk

‘Nottingham Heritage Vehicles’ premises are located in what was the bus garage of ‘Trent Motor Traction’ in the Nottinghamshire town of Hucknall.

A small but busy operation that is worth a visit on one of their opening days.

‘Nottingham City Transport’ (NCT) /1

Vehicles formerly operated by ‘NCT’ feature but there are other East Midlands operators represented at Hucknall.

This bus has appeared twice before on my blog. Both times it appeared as part of ‘NCT’s service fleet.

It has since been withdrawn and is now preserved at Hucknall.

There was a time in the 1970’and 80’s when ‘NCT’s bodywork was built to their own specification.

The results were highly individualistic and instantly recognisable as ‘The Nottingham’ style.
