‘Scene’ at Trowell Junction on Dennis Basford’s railsroadsrunways.blogspot.co.uk’

Trowell Junction lies at the bottom end of the Erewash Valley line just to the South of Ilkeston station.

 

The main line continues South through Toton yard whilst the Nottingham line branches off to the East.
