‘Scene’ in Liverpool. ‘Halton Transport’ part 1 on Dennis Basford’s railsroadsrunways.blogspot.co.uk’

AS PROMISED, THE FIRST ONE OF ‘A BLOG A DAY’ GOING THROUGH TO NEW YEARS DAY.

‘Halton Transport’ has its origins in ‘Widnes Corporation Transport’ which eventually widened its area of operation to include Runcorn and Liverpool.

As part of a local government re-organisation in 1974, control passed to Halton Borough Council.

The buses I saw were all elderly and all were immaculately turned out.
