‘Coastliner’, the full name is ‘Yorkshire Coastliner’, part of the ‘Transdev’ group that serves the Yorkshire coast from ‘LCBS’.
There are three routes starting at ‘LCBS’ that all run via York and Malton before diverging.
The 840 goes to Whitby and has recently been voted as the ‘Most Scenic Bus Journey in Britain’.
The 843 to Scarborough and the 845 to Filey and Bridlington.
My wife and I did the journey to Scarborough a few years ago and it is a superb trip.
