Leicester has two City centre bus stations, St Margarets and Haymarket which has recently been rebuilt.
Previously Haymarket was a collection of on street bus stops. Now it is a proper bus station with all the usual facilities.
‘First’ are the successors to what was ‘Leicester City Transport’.
The company has used various liveries down the years and on the day I was there, three were on view.
The latest livery to grace ‘First’s fleets is an improvement in that the addition of pink at least makes it brighter than before.

The ‘Barbie’ livery was superseded by a rather pale, bland scheme that in layout seemed to copy ‘Stagecoach’ group’s earlier striped livery.
