The City of Nottingham was one of the first to adopt electric traction in the modern era with battery powered vehicles in the shape of Optare Solo Electric’s operated by ‘trentbarton’ in 2012 on the ‘centrelink’ service between the Victora and Broadmarsh shopping centres via the city centre.
They have recently been replaced by ‘Nottingham Community Transport’ using BYD K9UR’s.
I believe that the batch supplied are registered LJ16 NMK, M, O, U, V, X, Y and Z together with LJ16 NNA, B , C, E and F totalling 13 vehicles.
